Biography
Jason Blake's desire is to communicate a message of joy and
encouragement by using his musical gifts to bless and uplift the
spirits of others. He hopes to be a vessel that will help broaden
people's understanding of God's abiding presence, while expressing
the depth of Christ's love for them and His power to change and renew
their lives.
Born on January 23, 1978 and raised in
Maryland, Jason is the younger of two sons ; At the age of twelve he was turned on to the idea of creating
and performing music. With an extended family that includes several
successful songwriters, performers, recording artists, and worship
leaders, it was easy for him to find his niche.
At the age of fifteen he attended a concert,
where he heard the song entitled "In Christ Alone." After hearing
those lyrics, that song became the testimony of his life. Through
many trials, fears, doubts, and disappointments, Jason has
consistently found God's restoration and healing. God's love and
grace have taught him that even through the ups and downs of life,
God is truly in control. |
